ਸ. ਰਘਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ 'ਬੀਰ' (Sardar Raghbir Singh Bir; 7 October 1896 - 14 April 1974) was a Sikh businessman who for a majority of his life lived in Calcutta (Bengal). He was originally from Lahore.

Bandgi-Nama is his most famous work.

Sharda and honest character as well as health without medicine are some of his topics at work.

Atam Science Trust (New Delhi) published alot of his books while some of his books were self published.[1]

Outlook

Ragbhir Singh ji says to have a positive outlook and think of your problems being very small, not impossible for real that task becomes easy.

He also says have faith in the power of Gurbani to heal when sick particularity Sukhmani Sahib if you have full belief.

Any action or step a gurmuck takes he will always get some sort of fruit from it


Stories

his Mosquitoes friendly

Bhai Sahib thought that it was his poor outlook on these beings that made them bite him. He slept outside on his cot with his small bed allowing mosquitoes to bite him left right and a few days later when his neighbors and friends where like what are you doing man you going loco, he: no it's because I still had a belief that they would bite me and hatred towards them. After a while the mosquitoes stopped biting him and for the rest of his life supposedly they did not bother him or bite him again.

Similar story

A raja was building a road and to lay the path he was unsure which route to build it as there was a house on one path and other things on the other. It happened that for some reason the man living in that house would curse the king almost everyday for some reason to his wife and family. When the raja was asked should he contninue the route the raja said yes I don't like that house for some reason it gives me a bad feeling go ahead and demolish it and continue.

Buddhist perspective

Buddhists are taught to live their entire life without thinking anyone is thinking bad of them.
